Pamela Anderson Biography
Pamela Anderson is arguably one of the most famous women in the world today. She was born in British Colombia, Canada on July 1st, 1967 and was the first baby born after Canada had celebrated its centennial. Anderson first became famous after being seen on a jumbotron at a professional sporting event wearing a Labbat Blue t-shirt back in 1989 when she was 22years old. The crowd went wild and a few weeks later, Pamela Anderson began appearing in commercials for Labatt Beer. She was then spotted by the founder of Playboy, Hugh Hefner, who offered her a chance to be featured in his magazine. After being featured in the magazine, Anderson was approached by casting directors at Baywatch and was signed to play a lifeguard on the incredibly popular television show. She also had minor roles on various other television shows and movies that didn’t do so well at the Box Office.
Instead, she is better known for her appearances in Playboy magazine, whose cover she graced multiple times, as well as her marriages to Tommy Lee and Kid Rock. Her infamous sex tape with Tommy Lee also helped boost her career.
Currently, she does not do much acting work accept from the casual appearance as a guest in a television series or a small role in a movie such as Scary Movie in 2003. Instead, she spends a lot of her time relaxing and being with her children, but still finds time to attend some of the most popular events and award shows in Hollywood.
Anderson is nearly 40 years old but is still one of the hottest women alive and is continually ranked as such by a number of magazines and other outlets. She has appeared on a number of shows such as the Late Show with David Leno or on TRL on MTV. It is unclear whether she will try to return to the television screen or the big screen again in a feature role as her last two major projects, Striperlla, an animated series on Spike TV, and VIP which was cancelled back in June of 2002, were both unsuccessful.
We will have to just wait and see if she decided to appear in any more magazines or try for a role in a movie or television show. If she does, chance are you will see her somewhere as Pamela Anderson is still very marketable and considered a sex icon.
